Great article! My latest book, "From Barcelona: Stories Behind the City Vol. 1," has just been published. It's a collection of ten shorts starring the tourist, Gt. George, a ghost, Antoni Gaudi and many others.

I really like the way you write, and I think you offer some good advice here. :) I see that you haven't written in a couple months - I hope you're just taking a break and will be back, because I'd like to read more!

Those are all really great links! I haven't used any of them yet, because my to-read list is already miles long... so I don't need any more ideas. :)
Sometimes I just stroll around Barnes & Noble and make a note of anything that catches my eye (I really do keep a list, it's on my Palm Pilot). As far as online goes, though, I'm a GoodReads junkie! I hope you do mention it in another one of your posts.
This is my first visit to your blog, because this post was recommended to me as being similar to my most recent one. I'm going to look around now and see what else you have to say. :)

I"ve read The Glass Castle and would recommend it heartily to anyone who likes real life struggles that are similar to many families. This one may be somewhat extreme, and even stirring to the point of anger. The book also appealed to my love of Appallacian culture.

You might also like Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs and The Sweet Life in Paris by David Leibowitz. Both good "foodie" books.
